Real Food
Tastes Better

At Rock Hill, we really really really care about food. I mean we REALLY CARE. We are extremely selective about all of our ingredients, sourcing them locally whenever possible and constantly fine-tuning our recipes and our processes until we are making food that is as perfect as it can be.

Bread is a staple. Bread is essential. Bread is nourishing. And real bread is made by real people with real ingredients. It is produced by human hands, rather than by machines in massive factories, and it is baked in and out of our stone hearth ovens by hand.

No additives. No chemicals. No added processing aids or conditioners. Just actual, natural and organic ingredients … many of our breads don’t even contain yeast. Check out our labels and you’ll see that many of them say something like,

“Non-BLEACHED, non-BROMATED WHEAT FLOUR, WATER, SALT, YEAST. NO ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS AT ALL.”

Best breakfast ever

My wife and I always went to the Bakehouse whenever we went to Glen’s Falls, the best breakfast ever. Wonderful staff, cozy feeling, outstanding food. I miss it this year, waiting for this pandemic to be over! I love the bread (can I pay to have it shipped?). Be safe up there, hope to see you soon!

“I Love Rock Hill”

During my 5 day visit to ADK I ate here three times. I loved everything i had. The tofu breakfast bowl on Sunday while listening to the piano playing was fantastic and a nice surprise. I tried 4 different pizzas. They were all fantastic. My favorite was the tomato and my husband loved the buffalo. The bison sandwich was super yummy and the cookies are delicious. Food is made with love.
